Order of the Dracul

You are probably thinking that with a name like "Order of the Dracul", that we are pagans, satanists or some other strange group of society. We are not. The word "dracul" has its origins from the Latin word "draco" meaning "dragon". Therefore OUR name is interpreted as "Order of the Dragon".

We are an intellectual, fraternal society. We seek the lost knowledge of the many ancient civilizations that existed on this earth. We seek to learn where we came from, why we are here and how can we help our fellow man and improve ourselves at the same time. In short, we seek the meaning of life and ways to make the world we live in a better place.

While the names Order of the Dragon and Order of the Dracul may be similar, we want to make one thing clear - that is where the similarity ends. We do not, nor have we at any time believed that the members of our society have been chosen by the Gods to rule mankind. On the contrary, we want to work with mankind to imporve the way of life for the planet as a whole.

We do consider OURSELVES a secret society and we do keep OUR rituals and practices known only to those within OUR inner circle. The reason for this is simple: We want to limit and strictly regulate those who wish to join OUR gruop. We do not want every psycho, freak and weirdo who thinks that we want to take over the world, sacrifice virgins and the like to join OUR ranks. We do not want some punk kid who thinks its "cool" to belong to a secret society knocking on OUR door. We are very serious about what it is we are trying to do.

OUR current members are all inteligent, productive people of society and we want to keep it that way. In OUR group there are medical professionals, athletic trainers, holistic medicine specialists, reverands and former enlistments of the U.S. military. There are members who work for two of the largest corporations in the United States. This is not a "fly-by-night" organization. We have been in existance since January, 1993 and we plan to be around for much longer.

Our objectives are simple:
1. To aid and assist each member of the Order in times of distress, disaster and need by rendering such services as are necessary.
2. To protect each member and his family and friends from harm and wrong-doing by preforming such action(s) as deemed necessary.
3. To aid and assist individuals in the surrounding communities by preforming such services as deemed fit and necessary.
4. To gain all possible knowledge from life's mysteries, seek the meaning of life and share the light of that truth with others deemed worthy by the Order to receive such knowledge.
5. To swear to keep the knowledge of the Order a secret from other individuals and to maintain that secrecy at all costs.

6. To assist each member in becoming a better individual in his personal and professional life by teaching him to respect our sacred planet, respect others, think critically and open his mind to new possibilities.

OUR mission is to seek and find the lost knowledge of man and use that knowledge to better OURSELVES and the world.
